About Replika
Ten years ago, we built the world’s first AI companion — before LLMs, before ChatGPT, and before anyone knew what AI could be.
What started as a way to patch a hole in our hearts became something unexpected: a catalyst. Millions of people told us Replika helped them reconnect with the world. They texted that old friend. They picked up that forgotten hobby. They took that walk around town. While today’s tech keeps people scrolling, we discovered AIs can push us outward, if we let them.
Now we’re being reborn with a new vision: the first AI with heart, for making the most out of life. Gentle nudges to meet friends when you’re feeling shy. Ideas for exploring new places when it’s easier to stay home. Daily conversation about whatever moves you — ballet, philosophy, aliens, or gossip — at 2am when no one else is awake. We’re not building an AI to validate or pacify. We’re building something modeled after the relationships that transform us. Someone who asks the right questions at the right time. Someone who helps you look inward, and pushes you outward. We’ve been featured in TED Talks, Stanford and Harvard studies, the Lex Fridman podcast, because 40M+ people connect with Replika in a deeply human way. And we’re just getting started.
About this role
Our CEO is rebuilding Replika from scratch — new app, new brand, new everything — and he needs someone at his side who can keep up. Someone with real creative instincts, impeccable taste, and the range to pick up a camera, produce content, manage his social presence, and schedule the TIME interview. One day you're filming backstage at a product event. The next you're finding the perfect shoot location or curating the look and feel of everything the company puts into the world. The range is the job; if you don't care about aesthetics, this isn't for you.
You'll be doing chores. Lots of manual work and ops. But you're also the head of the CEO's brand studio and project office — running point on his content, his presence, and the operations that keep him moving fast. Where it goes from there depends on you. The strongest version of this person ends up owning far more than what's written here.
This is an intimate, high-trust role. You’ll need to be discreet, fast, opinionated when it matters, and comfortable with a founder who’s brilliant, creative, demanding, and completely allergic to corporate anything. If that sounds like your kind of chaos, keep reading.
What you’ll be doing
Curate with taste. Review creative assets, select event venues, and make aesthetic calls across dozens of small decisions that collectively define how the company looks and feels. Our CEO has impeccable taste and expects the same from the person at his side.
Help produce content — shoot behind-the-scenes footage, assist with video production, recording podcasts, and support the content team as an assistant producer. You’re not directing the creative strategy, but you’re in the room when it matters.
Manage the CEO’s social media presence — help draft posts, coordinate publishing, and keep his accounts active and on-brand.
Coordinate media and community activity. Schedule interviews, wrangle documentary and film crew logistics, route inbound enquiries to the right people.
Protect the CEO's time and focus. Own his calendar and inbox, manage priorities ruthlessly, and absorb the recurring admin that would otherwise eat his week. The goal is simple: keep him on the work only he can do.
Run the operational layer around him — CEO special projects, complex international travel (business and personal, often blurred), offsites, swag, logistics. The boring stuff that has to be perfect for the interesting stuff to happen.Requirements
What we’re looking for
Impeccable taste and a genuine eye for design, style, and aesthetics. This isn't a throwaway line — it's the thread that runs through the entire role. You'll be making visual and stylistic calls constantly, from creative assets to venues to personal purchases, and our CEO will notice if your instincts aren't sharp.
Comfortable with a camera and basic content production. You don't need to be a professional videographer, but you should be able to shoot clean footage, understand what looks good on screen, and contribute meaningfully to a content shoot.
You understand social media — not as a spectator, but as someone who's built or managed a presence. Whether it's your own account or someone else's, you know what works, what looks right, and how to keep a feed active and on-brand.
You've supported a demanding, creative, fast-moving executive before and genuinely enjoyed it. You understand the rhythm: things change, priorities shift, nothing is ever fully predictable, and that's the part you like.
Can write in someone else's voice. You'll draft on the CEO's behalf — DMs, intros, the occasional public-facing message — and it has to sound like him.
Based in Paris, France. This is a hybrid role — we don't have a physical office, but you'll need to be with our CEO in person regularly.
Fluent in French and English. French for local logistics — vendors, events, the daily reality of getting things done in Paris. English is the company's working language.
Discreet and trustworthy. You'll have access to sensitive personal and professional information. That trust is non-negotiable.
Obsessively organized and self-directed. You hold a dozen threads at once, nothing slips, and you don't wait for instructions when the answer is obvious.
You're not above the unglamorous stuff. Travel bookings, vendor follow-ups, swag shipments, expense reports. The role has range in both directions — creative ceiling, operational floor — and you're good with both.
Bonus points
Experience supporting a founder or CEO in tech, startups, or creative industries.
You’ve lived and worked in Paris and know the city — the neighborhoods, the vendors, the restaurants, the way things actually get done here.
A background that’s not purely corporate. Maybe you’ve worked in fashion, media, production, design, or the arts. The kind of environment where taste and attention to detail aren’t optional.
Experience with social media management, content production, or PR coordination.
A genuine curiosity about AI, consumer products, or what Replika is building. You’ll be closer to the product and the vision than almost anyone — it helps if that excites you.
What you'll get
Competitive compensation.
Flexible job schedule and generous vacation policy.
No corporate bs.
Direct impact on millions of worldwide users within months.
